OUTBACK ADVENTURES SAFETY & FIRST AID

Safety is THE priority at Outback Adventures and we have an outstanding and enviable safety record.

Instructions, briefing will be given by experienced outdoor faculty before the start of the activity

A complete first aid kit is available at all times along with information about the nearest hospital and ambulance facilities (area specific)

Outdoor faculty/staff/guides are knowledgeable in the use of the first aid kit; They are trained in courses like Wilderness First Responder, First Aid and CPR(Cardio-pulmonary Resuscitation) and Airway Management.

STANDARDS & EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE
OF OUTBACK ADVENTURES

All equipments including carabiners, belay device, harnesses, ropes and pulleys are certified by UIAA/CE/EN.

All equipments including rafts, kayaks, paddles, helmets, life jackets, throw bags, ropes and carabineers are sourced from manufacturers who strictly maintain the standards set for the particular equipment.

Log books are maintained for all equipment to record usage, wear and tear, etc. Used Equipments are discarded and/or replaced when it shows signs of wear and tear or breakage.

Equipments for Water Sports are checked by the guides before the first run of the day and after consecutive runs.

Safety briefing and equipment usage briefing along with practice is given by certified experienced Outdoor experts and River guides.

Knowledge and information of the river grade, local weather conditions are made available before hand.

The nature of outdoor activities involves some physical exertion and also possible exposure to weather conditions that can fluctuate greatly due to heat, sun, wind or rain. Participants should consider the above conditions while choosing and preparing for an adventurous outing.

Registration and medical waiver forms should be filled and signed by participants before the start of the activity
